Don't know if that trailer was ever found but I know it had not been some time later. The owner was paid the insurance.

I keep a hitch lock and a wheel lock on mine. They can still steal it, but it won't be easy...

With using the Anderson Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection, a thief would either have to have that set up in their truck, or minimally have a regular 5th wheel hitch, and dismantle the kingpin coupler which is solidly bolted to the kingpin.

On my 19, I never used anything but trust in my fellow man.

I talked to Andersen about a lock for the coupler. They told me they are working on one and it should be available next year.
