Smile Storage

I’ve checked out all the great modifications people have made but there one thing that wasn’t mentioned. Where do you put a trash can? Do you have a trash can in the bathroom?

We put ours in the cabinet just to the right of the entry door. It fits perfectly. We have a 5.0.

We have using the 2.99 bag holder and our little IKEA trash can for 6 years now . Pat
We empty our trash bag holder everyday and sometimes more . Usually just paper etc. the bath trash can everyday day to . If boondocking like we were last year at Quartzite, we had a black heavy bag in back of truck to put our trash in until we could dump that . You have to carry your trash out at some campsites . Pat

I too have always liked the garbage to be hidden and out of the way. With our 19 we hung a small garbage can inside one of the doors under the bed. In my 5.0 ta I did some custom Cabinetry and installed the garbage and recycling bins in a pull-out drawer.

Sorry Jim not possible . One side under bed is for storage and the other side I made a 2 compartments that slides for dirty laundry . Coming from a camper that had doors to wheel wells where the dirty laundry went , needed somewhere to put dirty stuff without having to go outside after shower . Also under bed is partitioned from water heater tank etc. on one side , partitioned on other side to outside storage door . Pat

Well... the OP does have a "2019 Escape 5.0TA" So, I guess my solution would work for them.

Sorry didn’t see the 5 th just the 19 . Yes Definetly would put a trash can in a cabinet in a 5 th . My mistake . Love the size of our trailer but it has been a chore to find storage . You really have to be inventive .However the bath’s are exactly the same Pat

Do a search on trash can, here's just 2 of the 78 hits.

I think that you will see this one in a lot of posts.

https://www.homedepot.ca/product/nov...bin/1001072151

it is the one we use. fits under the sink. you will see it on the back of the trailer door in one post.

When we bought ours it came with a clip to hang it from but we don't use it.

I couldn't find it in home depot .com or amazon, but they must be there.

Still lots of room for storage under the bed. I never even had the front storage box , as they never even offered it when I bought mine in 2009.Click image for larger version

Jim won’t work for us . Truthfully wouldn’t want trash under bed . Only paper products in that hanging bag at kitchen . Messy stuff goes immediately out the door not in that bag . I found a trash can I thought could hang on door , but so far can’t convince Linda . We also have a oven so not a lot of cabinets . Sometimes when camping even for not any dripping messy trash hang a trash bag outside too from the awning arms . Pat

A little tiny plastic container tucked into the lower cabinet under the sink. Bit of a pain to get in and out of there, but it works.

I made a little slide out from PVC board for under the sink. One of several drawers I added.
