Storage tube for 21' Escape

If anyone is stopping at ETI on their way to the rally in Osoyoos, would you be willing to pick up a storage tube like the two shown in the photo?

I will pre-pay for it and will greet you with a nice bottle of wine or six pack of beer.

Regards,

Fred M.

You could call ETI and see if Tammy would bring it along.

Storage tube for 21' Escape

I thought of that, but they will have their hands full without me adding another thing to her list.

Hey Red Dog, Ginger and I will be picking up our trailer on the 17th and headed to the rally and plan to be there on the 24th. If you can coordinate the purchase with ETI and then send me a reminder email I can bring it. My memory is not very long but long enough to remember a six pack of beer.....

Escape will have almost daily runs from the factory, with close to 150 units in Osoyoos, they will be bringing parts I'm sure. I have received several items in the the past and picking up a couple this trip. Just ask them to bring it to the rally, several of the employees will be coming also.

Hmmm...I will call ETI tomorrow and see if they can take one with them.

Otherwise, I may take Art and Ginger up on their offer.

Thanks guys!

Ok, curiosity got me, is there a reason for another tube? Did one of your break? Is there another use for a third one? To be honest, I don't know what they are used for..........

I want to use the third one to store my hiking poles or my planned support poles for my awning.

Tube freight

I thought maybe Fred had designed and built a custom cherry picker and was gonna slip over the fence in the moonlight. Or store his fishing pole in there. I think about food a lot.
Jon V keeps his ladder in a tube. I think it's a square fence post though.

I was thinking, bagels, just how many would it hold, or better yet, scrapple in the winter, no refrigeration needed.

Tube transport

Hi Jim:
Now you're starting to think outside the box. Reminds me of back in the 50's when pheasants were everywhere and people would get greedy and shoot over their limit. Those goons would put birds in the hubcaps in hopes of avoiding detection if stopped by a game warden. Lots of wardens those days had a dog with them at all times, usually a black lab or a golden retriever. While the warden checked the licenses the dog would walk around the car and get real interested in the hub cap contents. Busted. I have quite a bit of literature documenting these arrests from back in the day. Ever heat up a sandwich or can of soup on the manifold? Manifold scrapple with a side of toast.

For the "bad" boys: wine bottle border crossing...
How many tubes do fit under a trailer?

Fred, I know this is obvious - but, hey one never knows.

Just make sure you label which tube is which!

Sniffer

Fred
Don't try any funny business with the border patrol. I understand they have a wino hired to sniff those tubes. It's brutal when he's wrong but he works for the yield when he's right.
