Switching to 17'

As a result of our Fort Langley visit, Kathleen and I have decided that a 17' Escape would better suit our needs than a 13' one. It will allow us to have a semi-permanent bed and a bathroom. Plus Allan, a fellow from North Vancouver who has a 17' Escape but does not seem to be on this forum, said that we would really appreciate the extra space when camping in the rain.

We asked Reace and Tammy to change our order, and they have done so. We had been keeping this option open.

Problem is, now we need a tow vehicle. But that is for another thread.

Re: Switching to 17'

Sounds like sound reasoning Ron. I know with us, pretty much the only two things Lisa insisted on were the permanent bed and a bath, no matter how small.

Tow vehicle shopping, though costing money, can be fun too.

And, if nothing else, it's a great time to buy a new vehicle. I missed it all by about three months.

Re: Switching to 17'

Ron, glad you have made up your mind and changed your order...
I know just being out with our 17' those two nights after MANY years with the 13'---WOW....It felt so much bigger.....

That bit more room is great and I love the bathroom. I know you were going to get the bathroom model in your 13', but having the bed made up AND a table is great.....

Good luck with the tow vehicle shopping ---yeah we had to do that too...
