Thank you!!,,,We are sooo fortunate. Incredibly lucky and thankful too!

Hi I just cant believe that I've just parked our new {to us} 2006 Escape 17 B . I registered on this site on Sept 21 st and started my serious research. Quickly I determined that Escape, and Escape owners, are something special. In tough times there's a 6/7 month waiting list for new product. We visited Tammy and Reace at the factory and were very impressed as a lot of people have been before us. We have a 21 foot Sprinter motorhome and while its nice its not what we need. It was a mistake. Anyhoo,,we went on a ten day BC interior trip and had fun deciding whether we would go for the 17 B or the 19,,,looked like the 19,,,,,,, frankly my preference was for the 17 B.I was lined up at the ferry last friday, {we live on Vancouve island} and bought the Times Colonist paper and there was a three line ad for a 2006 17 B on the island. I generally hate cel phones but this time it was a great help, Phoned the number and bought it sight unsceen with the understanding that it was in perfect condition. Went down to see it early today and it is beyond mint. We are sooo fortunate to have found it. The owners were life time rvers who at 80 have decided its time to stay home. He golfs only three times a week and made me feel like a hundred year old!
Keep in mind we have never towed a trailer and we had to tow her home behind our 21 foot sprinter. No problem as it was as smooth as silk. Now we had to park it!!! Never backed a trailer and it had to go in backwards through a 90 degree turn between two wooden posts with 2 feet on each side. We did it,,,slowly and carefully and we made it.As you can see we are totally excited to have this baby home. Cant wait to hit the road. Thanks to all for understanding our excitement and gratitude. Thank you.

Wow---What a story..
So glad you were able to finally pick up a trailer. (Didn't you "almost" have one earlier that someone changed their mind on?)

Congrats and welcome to the "Escape" family...

Congrats as well. It's such a wonderful feeling when the stars align just right like that. Enjoy it as I'm sure you will.
