Absolutely beautiful Myron! I can't wait to be there again. Thanks. Do you have any campground suggestions?

The "fun" part of that campground was driving the loops wondering if the trailer was going to hit one of those trees that are so close to the road.

Jedediah Smith Campground is the most Northern and awesome. Walked out of my trailer and an 8' diameter redwood spitting distance away.

Mitzi,
When we picked up in early November 2015, we took the most direct route out to reduce hotel stays, and headed south after pickup. We stayed ahead of an early cold snap that produced an ice storm in Portland and snow at Crater Lake the day after we passed through each. The closer you stay to the coast, the less worry about snow, generally. We're home for a while, if you need a final visit.
Good luck,
Bill

As Skiman Carl said, Jedediah Smith SP is indeed awesome. But our all-time favorite is Patricks Point SP. It is on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They're all good!
