The camper you could actually afford 😂
Saw this on MSN and thought I'd pass it on for some giggles. It might be a good fit in a niche market, but the affordable part - "I don't think so, Tim"!

But only $5,000 to ship to the US.

Niche market is right. Cool looking, can go places our Escapes can't go, but it costs way too much.

With the summer heat around here and that black...who needs a stove. Fry some eggs on the roof for lunch and roast a chicken inside for dinner.

Fortunately being able to afford something doesn't necessarily mean WANT it. Whew.

I have to wonder about the idiot who wrote the article and thought that it made sense to compare the price to a motorhome, rather than to readily available travel trailers or even the directly comparable "teardrop" trailers. Then I saw that the article came from NewAtlas, and it all made sense.

Brian, my take too. Seems like any moron can get published writing rubbish about RVs.

Thirty-eight thousand US beans for that? I'd consider it only when outback smoking them funny Aussie cigars.

The article is based on a completely false premise - that "entry level" RVs can start at over 100K. Preposterous.
There are truly entry level brand new trailers right now over at Camping World for around 10K. Does this guy even know what an RV is?
Having said that, it'd be a cold day in hell before I spent 30 grand on a teardrop, "ruggedized" or not. If I needed to go to rugged off road places, maybe a nice beefy 4WD truck with an Arctic Fox camper on it. And there are always tents, even though I'm supposed to be "Past" them. [emoji23]

All you have to do is look at the teasers below this post and on the right side of the page ( RVLIFE Featured Articles ) to realize how low the standard is for web publishing. "7 things you should consider before wasting your time clicking on this link".

Yes, but because the idiotic author compared this trailer only to motorhomes, it's not far off. Picking one mainstream manufacturer at random because I know their website URL (Winnebago), their cheapest Class C starts at US$85K.
Depending on the location and season, even an overpriced apple can be cheap compared to a basic orange.

There's one RV Life author who posts on a wide variety of subjects, but is very reliable in one respect: every post on a technical subject is riddled with errors. Most are mediocre, but this one is horrendous... and just keeps publishing.

Today's high temp in Hell is only 25 degrees F, with a forecasted low of 2*.
