Oh man, oh man...wonderful. I'm so jealous (sigh) of those that get the u-shape dinette. I so wanted that in my 5er.

THANKS for sharing the pics Jim. I see a whole bunch of wonderful memories to be made ahead of you!!

I saw that, but then a week or so ago on the Escape Industries website on the new 5er... it says

"Please note this trailer will not have a U-Shaped Dinette." Nothing about being an option... guess I should ask...

Escape 5.0
Hi: Donna D... Please ask...for me too!!! I was torn between the U-shaped and the straight dinette and when I spoke to Reace earlier he thought it would be optional. Then I read that definitive "Not" sentence, and figured I didn't need to have to make up my mind. Alf

I would read that as saying "not have a U-Shaped Dinette standard" - to indicate a change from the original 5.0.

Jim, I wish I was there with a bourbon in your camper with you. I can't wait till I figure out my work schedule over the next couple weeks so I can arrange a time to come see and admire blackjack, as well as have an extended discussion about my build sheet. Congrats again, and enjoy the snow, warmth of that extra insulation, and making your preparations
