Is it frozen or do you think its one of the defective ones that lock you out?

I checked, key#330 is not on the list, it works on the door latch but it will not go all the way in on the deadbolt. Tried, deicer, wd-40, hair dryer, next up, door removal, awaiting to hear back from Reace first.

If you ever get the chance read "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" by Robert Pirsig where he discusses "gumption traps", that one little spring in the carburetor that if lost, the entire bike won't operate.

Well congrats Jim, were on pins and needles waiting! Stay calm and carry on, it's all good (or will be).
Dave & Kathie

PS could it be frozen inside the mechanism where the deicer can't get to it? Maybe a hair dryer is a good idea?....

Did you order the "Time Lock" option? :-)

Mine froze up with our recent cold snap, a hair dryer worked; I then coated the insides with lots of lithium spray grease and have had no problems since.

Try gently heating your key with a lighter. Keep inserting it until it warms up the tumbler. You may have frozen water in it.

Hair dry will work too. Just be careful.
