"Made in British Columbia", and "Proudly Made in Canada" with the big Maple Leaf are my favourites too! But I'm Canadian .

I like driving around with Tennessee tags and the big Maple Leaf on the back. People get all confused. Great conversation starter.

I think without the graphics my 19 would look like a family sized bar of Ivory soap.

maple leaves and name tags

I have removed a lot of manufactures tags and dealer tags from cars but our 21 is on it's second spare cover with a maple leaf and I feel the trailer is proud to display it. Oh wait a minute, I believe it says that.

I also cut all the tags out of my shirts, etc.
Never bought branded clothes either. Don't like wearing crests on my chest or people calling me Calvin.
Although, I will admit to an occasional SOI club shirt.

I've removed dealer tags but can't think of why I would remove the Ford logos from my truck, or the Hyundai and Volvo logos. I like the maple leaf and all the other Escape graphics and I also like the fact I can choose the color of them.

Has anyone painted their Escape anything other than white?

Sarandipity bought a used 2005 and did an amazing job both inside and out. You can see the results on her blog page.

Although I have not seen a custom paint job on a new trailer. This was a restoration.

Ron, you finished It !!!
Looks beautiful. I know its a copy but still.

The green is beautifull, although originals were darker green.
In college I traded a 59 XK-150 for a 67 Spitfire that I painted that very same shade of green. Beautiful color.

Going to UK this week for ten day holiday. Wish we had time to visit Norfolk home of Colin Chapman, his company's museum and hopefully visit his grave site to pay my respects. Next trip wife will add to our travel itinerary.

Congratulations on your Super Seven.

Hi MB,

We decided to order our classic 21 naked. Well, at last minute we decided it was not the graphics but the high contrast. We selected a light grey color so as to not standout allowing the beauty of the shell to come through. We are pleased with our decision and the graphics does make the trailer look good. We left out the large "Escape 21" normally applied up front. Too much of a visual, and a big target for bug splashes as noticed on way home from ETI a couple of weeks ago.

We too are leaning to some level of grey or silver, something that would go with any tow vehicle colour, and something we will not tire of. We need to decide soon though......

Hi Jim, if it helps, this is the grey/silver wife chose.

Our classic 21 is more naked than most as we eliminated the awning. AC, stove vent, refrigerator wall and roof vents. It looks really nice.

That's nice. I was thinking along that line, maybe a bit darker.

Lots of people remove badges from vehicles, and lots more would be removed except that they are integrated into the shape of panels or just leave holes behind if removed; it's usually for a cleaner, less cluttered look. I bought my current car used, and the previous owner had removed two of the four badges from the rear hatch - the two that were only glued on, not the two mounted on studs through holes (Mazda name and logo). I have no intention of replacing them (I only have the "SkyActiv" badge anyway, I don't know what happened to the "3"), and it does look cleaner without them. The car already had a dealer sticker from the first time it was sold, but the dealer removed it for me when I bought it.

I think that many vehicles look better with less badging clutter (especially the back of things with AWD, turbo, and trim level badges); at the same time many RVs have large plain areas that look better with something breaking them up. In any case, it's just a matter of what looks good to the owner.
