Washed/waxed my 21 last week at the car wash, my bucket, my wax n shine, their water.

I thought it looked pretty good for a yearling that is not stored undercover. Will look again next time I take her out for sun damage.

Yep, there be oxidation up there. And apparently I need to reseal the upper taillights, but that's another story.

Have read a big chunk of the mega thread on fgrv, and decided to wipe the roof with glass top stove cleaner. Test patch was good. Will do two light passes with the armstrong method and then have a ponder on next steps.

Robert,

Which Starbrite product do you use? I see they have one for RV and one for Boats and either can be used on fiberglass. Maybe they are the same product with different labels, don't know for sure.

Premium Marine Polish with PTEF

See they also have this product to remove oxidation.

Premium Cleaner Wax with PTEF

Mine is the marine polish, although, I don't know if there's a difference. It's just what I've used on gelcoat for a long time. The cleaner wax is fine if you're oxidized, but otherwise you don't need it. A Porter Cable random orbit polisher makes the job quicker.
