Trailer life has escape 21 in Little big trailer article

Just got this magazine in the mail.

I don't understand why they compared the 21 dual axle to all the other single axle trailers from others, why not the 17? Which is closer in price to others? Aliner compared to 21? Guess it is amazing escape is in there at all...

Funny though I looked at most of these, and still 19' escape was the best! I did not look at airstream, just way too much money for me!

Trailer Life doesn't typically offer the content of their current issue on their website, which makes sense to me (since they sell the magazine). They offer some useful information, but I wouldn't look for objective or comprehensive information from them. I generally assume that any RV appearing in their articles is there because the manufacturer has paid for the placement, either directly or as part of an advertising deal.

Escape has been advertised in the magazine at least a couple of times, maybe more. However, I thought it was great notice for the Escape. It had the web site so people can go online and see the other Escape models. This article had eleven small size trailers with small review, specs, prices , contact info.

Yes, the "reviews" often seem more like ads. It is neat though to see the Escape ads. I recognized Alf's Escape immediately.

I read it. That “Trailer Life” cover article on “Pint Sized Trailers” was indeed pint sized in every way. It sucks you in, and then betrays expectation for an instructive, logical tutorial. That is bad. I don’t think the author did any research on the subject. Clearly, the poor fellow had no clue about that of which he wrote, other than selected regurgitation of manufacturing brochures. Guessing the editor made him do it.

I found an April copy at Camping World today. I wanted to subscribe. Yeah, I was curious. Who amongst us enjoying the trailer life wouldn’t be? Never seen Trailer Life sold on any magazine shelves. It’s nice the Escape gets mentioned, but if the 21 qualifies as a ”little” trailer, credibility just jack-knifed in a cul-de-sac.

I suspect the writer got paid what he is worth.
I quit buying magazines on any topic years ago.

Did you notice the price mentioned? $21K , that is for the 17' footer not the pictured 21'.

It says that there are sleeping accommodations for 5. In a 21, I could see 2 in the bed, and 2 in the dinette. Is there a gaucho bunk that could go somewhere? Am I missing another sleeping location?

And the same magazine has an Escape ad running, featuring a picture of Alf's 5.0 TA! Great looking!!!
