We hear Ya ! The reason we got the trailer we have 3 and they are Murphy , Hanna , and Bud . Together they weigh no more then 30 lbs , but they needed more room .

So sorry Sandra, we truly get it! We lost our beloved Golden Retriever 3 months ago - one of two "floor mats" in our 17B. That special soul in a dog suit will forever be missed; we are only recently feeling the joyous memories more than the tears. Only a week ago we adopted another Golden. She is rapidly assuming her loving role in our family, and will bring joy while never replacing Matsi. Their time is too short with us, but they and we are better for it…Glenn & Carmen.

We had to put our 14 year old black lab down last summer. We were heartbroken. Told my wife we were too old for another Lab, but she wanted one so we compromised......and got another lab after a 6 week "mourning" period. Millie is our traveling buddy now. She is 18 months old and weighs in at 88 lbs. Shewill be going with us to Chilliwack to pick up our trailer in late May. Everyone will meet her ( and us) in Osoyoos!

My heartfelt condolences to Sandra and the others who have recently lost a beloved pet and family member. They complete a circle of life and love within our own existence and what a sweet honor that is for us. It is hard to say goodbye, but when these loved ones cross that rainbow bridge, they carry a little of us with them--for comfort and peace. And we do the same as we walk a favorite path.

As a distant cousin once said: "If there are no dogs in Heaven--then when I die, I want to go where they went." Will Rogers

Peace to you--
Gae

Gae. Love to hear Will Rogers quoted. I grew up near his ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains. Spent lots of time there flying kites, walking our dogs and watching the Polo matches. He was a great American, truly a national treasure!

Yeah, it was a blast. Will Rogers does indeed stand the test of time-consuming many of his comments, especially related to politics and the foibles of men, ring as true today as they did in his time.
