Hi: All... After 5 yrs. of camping and wondering what the underside of the 8" memo foam mattress looked like I finally summoned up enough courage to flip it!!! Picture a 60X80" hotdog bun with no weiner in it and trying to pull it and it won't budge
So I have to dive under it along the plywood floor...but it has a nonskid pad stiched into the cover... which has become stuck to the fiberglass resin across the plywood joints. This is becoming more of a chore than even I expected
Now I'm feeling alone and thinking I may be suffocated any minute under my own mattress' weight. Picture a breakfast sausage under a flapjack :
Hey wait a minute it's not stuck anymore...but I am!!!
My wife comes out to see what I'm doing and not a minute to soon...Panic hasn't set in yet but it's not far off!!! She holds up the end of the mattress while I wriggle my piggies outta there
Now it's her turn in the nose cone with that monster "Bun". Together we manage to get it outta there and onto the floor... only to find you can't flip it. The memo foam is just the top 3". Oh well might as well wash the covers and turn it end for end while we're at it. Alf
