Jack, you better not look at any of the 21's at Osoyoos, you may have to get some blue magic marker out.

I thought about getting a vanity plate for my car. 75BUCKS, which was what it used to cost. Price has gone up.

Looks great Ian. Guess we won't see you in MB this year.
It would be nice to get a vanity plate for our Escape but due to having very small license plates with a letter and three numbers here in MB I doubt we can even get a personalized one.

Unfortunately won't be able to make the MB event this year, but I sure had a great time last year. So many events such a short summer.

Your post made me go and look it up. $100 up front and $40/yr for the privilege.
And no trailer plating. Hard to believe a government in this day and age NOT looking at all available revenue streams.

I don't think they make any money.
They've got people employed to make sure that people aren't trying to sneak thru a plate that could be obscene or offensive. That, and other admin costs.

We get six alpha/digits in Oregon.. and cost big bucks. I bought vanity plates for years. I'm approching retirement... getting cheap now. But, all the vanity plates I've purchased are hanging on the interior garage wall!

Costs range greatly, yes these were expensive at $221 ea but in Alberta trailer registration is lifetime, so no annual fee. A one time cost is how I justify it, plus we plan on keeping both these trailer for our lifetime.

I like your plates. They are both really cool.
Ian, I always wondered what your decision process would be like when trying to decide which trailer to take on a trip? Why choose the 19' over the 13', or vice versa?

We use the Boler for almost all the "fiberglass" events except the Escape one, car shows, and often short and close to home "weekends". We use the Escape for longer trips, longer vacations and in shoulder season when we may need the furnace.
Think of the Boler as our "sports car" for fun and a weekend outing, The Escape is the Cadillac, with all those creature comforts for longer drives.
We also have friends that when they want to camp I will bring both trailers (two trips of course) so they can experience staying in a Boler.
