Hi Ellen . When we first did our build sheet because of the cost didn't think we needed the front box . Turns out we added it because of Kim who convinced us . All the positives . Well it is the best option we did and am sure glad we have it . Also we have the Ac .

Good point. The windows affect the location of the streaks; I don't think they cause the black deposits.

Had that storage box been available, I would have ordered it. What I did was have a hatch put in on both sides of the front for outdoor things. I also put my dirty mats (if I didn't have a chance to clean them) in garbage or large plastic bags. Saves me dealing with that problem.

Another vote for the storage. Thanks!!!

Not a "cure" but a good cleaner -- Use LA's Totally Awesome. It's available at most of the dollar stores like Dollar General, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree. Cheap and VERY effective. Here's a YouTube video of it in action:

Besides, we get to have the bed tucked nicely out of the way.

Hi Pat and Linda,
I'm definitely convinced! May cut back elsewhere but will get the front box.
Really looking forward to seeing some of these options "live" in May.
Thanks!!!

Black streaks are a problem with all makes and models of RV. I've seen many posts on the subject in lots of forums. Google it and you'll find lots of suggestions on dealing with it.

We love our front box. Don't have to carry all that stuff in the TV anymore. Also, for black streaks, Dave uses McGuires Oxidation Remover. Our rig is stored outside. McGuires also carries a full kit that includes cleaner, wax, etc. Keeps the gel coat looking like new!
