What are these things?

They came with the refrigerator in our 21. What the heck are they designed to do?

They fit in your refrigerator door trays to keep things from rattling around.

They are called Dometic Magic Fingers.
- Holds bottles and cans secure in door shelves
- Easy removal for cleaning
- Snap-in installation fits Dometic refrigerators
- Fits over front edges of door shelves, 7"

My spouse put one in one of the door trays. Personally, I think they are not very useful, but I am smart enough to keep my mouth shut......she likes it. So yes, we have one in use.

Not me. I don't put anything in the door while in transit. I shift things I'll use frequently (milk, eggs, etc) once I'm staying somewhere. Mine are in the attic (we don't have a basement).

The girls use them for hair combs when camping.

We use them. Plus the Camco fridge braces that work well. We also have a nylon strap (compliments of the prior owner, Rich... thanks!) that keeps the door shut.

Confused have always used them in all our refrigerators. We don't load the door down but those hold things in better . Pat

Unfortunately we load up the door, if it breaks I'll blame it on Deb. I've mentioned we shouldn't but she loads up it up anyway, I'm not going to harp on it. Another thing I shouldn't mention before a trip.

It’s wisdom like this that has allowed me to reach our 31st anniversary today.

We usually just pack the door shelves fairly tight so don't need them, though do carry them and have used them a few times. We never take stuff out of the door while travelling, and never an issue.

A year ago in October, I went back to New England with my best childhood friend who had recently moved to Florida from NH. The purpose of the trip was to pick up his remaining furniture and possessions that were in a storage facility. He stayed overnight at my house and we left at 5:00AM, making good time. We stopped at the South Carolina welcome station and I called home. When I told Gail where we were, she said “You are making really good time.” Although it immediately popped into my mind, I was also smart enough NOT to say “That’s because we don’t have to stop every hour to pee!” But I won’t claim that I am always wise.....

On the other hand, I've driven past many an antique and collectable store, saying, "we'll stop on the way back".

Hey, they look like they would be good to remove Cholla cactus from your body if you happen to have one jump on you. Ouch!

What are these things?

They are somewhere, but not in the fridge. They kept slipping off.
