Nindy, I think it was David Who Travels With Cats who showed that mod, though likely others have done it as well. My son also drilled two holes in the metal arm, so now I have a choice of three window openings. And it doesn't come crashing in when the arm is bumped.
This was David's post with one hole in the arm. Others have done it with multiple holes including the red tab at the end to hold it in the open position. It is easy for it to slip off the ridge on the underside of the tab if it is bumped.
Don: I believe that Escape has always used the Dexter #10 "3500#" axle with 10x2-1/4" brakes for all trailers and the only difference was it was derated (less rubber?) when ETI wanted a different capacity. This includes the earlier classic trailers that had 14" wheels. For example we have two #10 axles rated at 2300# each.
Your numbers above are very useful. The only thing I would add is that if an owner is interested in upgrading to the Nev-R-Adjust brake assemblies the numbers for the complete assemblies would be as follows:

On my 'future projects' list is to put parking brakes on our Escape. This will provide additional safety on sloped sites, and will provide an additional level of deterrent from thievery whereever the trailer is parked.

Well, I got the brake controller and ball mount installed on the new truck and did a trial tow. All went well, and I even managed to back back into the driveway. Then I looked up how to silence the proximity alarm when I back with the trailer attached or to hitch up the trailer.
Do you plug them in inside the trailer? Where does the moisture go when you plug them in?
The moisture goes into the beads. That’s why you need to plug them in todry them out. I don’t know how long the beads last. My sister uses this kind of beads for her hearing aids to remove moisture that accumulates while she is wearing them.
Morning ! Yes I changed the shower hose . Also changed to same hose on the outside shower we have . It is stainless and very flexible . Bought on Amazon about 11.00
The clip I made out of aluminum piece I have , just bent it to what I need . It is for the Oxygenics shower head for travel . It would end up on the floor during travel so this should solve that. Love the Oxygenics cuts the shower water use in half .If you dont have the extra reinforcement and the little studs arent where you need them , just add a backer board across ,in your closet so screws have something to screw into . They make 3M Command strips specifically for bathrooms and high moisture areas now. Sine I am not a handyman, I will be using them and suction cup hangers.
My trailer was ordered during the LED flickering issue back in 2018 which was subsequently fixed by Escape replacing the pancakes with a new style pancake light. However my build had 3 captain lights under the rear cabinet over the dinette as a safety measure to deal with the flickering lights. Today I replaced 2 of my factory captain lights with new 1/2" thin style pan cake lights with a neat blue LED switch indicator.

Ron are you planning one (R-10) or two layers (R-20)? I ask because with 2 thick board and the 4 frame you are set up nicely for two layers.
I think that this a diminishing returns situation. While, yes, it would actually be easier to put a second layer over the first because the first has to be fitted over some gas lines etc., there wouldn't be much payback. I consider the package as a whole. I'm probably already making the floor a higher R value than the walls and roof. So one layer it is.
The primary motivation is to keep the floor warmer so that when sitting at the dinette or walking around without shoes on it doesn't feel cold. It worked on my E19.

I also use my Escape as a "lifeboat" during power outages or when I make my house uninhabitable by screwing up the plumbing or whatnot. It's an old house; stuff happens.
One reason I bought the Escape is to mitigate a direct strike by a hurricane. It hasn't happened since I bought the trailer, but when it does I'll be out of power for several days, I'm sure, and the water supply may fail.
