I tow a 19 with a Ram 1500 ecodiesel (which is a V6). Solid 18 mpg towing, mid 20's not towing. Plenty of power for Montana mountain passes.

Our 19 weighs about 3300 lbs when underway. Tow with a F150 2.7L Ecoboost V6 Crew Cab 4x2. 16.2 mpg average towing, 25.7 not towing. Tows with absolute ease, even on steep grades.

Interesting, we tow our Escape 19 with a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the V8 and we average 14.9 miles per US gallon or 15.8 litres per 100 km.

Taco V6 rated 6300 lbs towing does fine with a 4100 lb (fully wet/loaded) Escape 21 up/down mountains in the Western US.

2010 Tacoma TRD double cab long box no canopy

We tow our 19 with a 2010 Tacoma TRD 4.0L 5 speed Auto trans with towing package. With no sway or equalizer hitch. Pulled through the mountains, windy plains, in the rain and wind. No problems even with water in fresh tanks at the back. Mileage as said before not great usually 14-16 mpg if we drive 55 - 60 mph. Love how the nineteen tows would recommend combination to anyone.

2012 F-150 w/ 3.5 litre Ecoboost & 3.73's. The truck handles the 19' with ease.
The more I tow with a gas engine, however, the more I miss having a diesel.

Sante Fe 6 cylinder Pulled my 17 all through Alaska and pulls my 19 ok. It does slow down a little on the steep hills. I get 16.5L/100 not driving too conservatively.
