Jim, there are people on the forum who are helpful and some others not so much. I do, however, put you in a handful of the most helpful. I agree with you about your integrity.....don't change one bit.

.......

I think if folks are waiting for ETI to post them, they're in for a long wait. Yes, they've updated some of the photos on their site, but they still show some 1st Gen photos for the 17A and the 21. Not sure on the 19. And just outside photos of the 17B. Least they finally took off the bathroom photo(s) for the 17A. And I believe those new photos were added long after I posted what I did to this forum.
Your postings/pictures helped me as well Laura. Pictures are worth a thousand words and it is really nice to get a visual of what you are buying. Thank you for that.

As for Jim, I see no need to pressure him into posting pictures if he doesn't want. No problem with that and I support his position 100%. It really is Escape that should be posting the pics, it's their product. Maybe they are just too busy making trailers right now. I am sure pictures will be coming forth soon.

From my perspective, even though we just got our 2016 5.0TA in June, I can't help but wish that Escape would take enough pictures, (kinda like what NW Cat Owner, aka Hello Kitty, did) which would enable prospective buyers to fully visually understand what they are getting.

I had to look through many "It's Friday" pages to find 5.0TA pictures that would show a detail here or there of something I was interested in. If Escape could take enough photos to cover the inside and out of their trailers thoroughly, and it were posted as a stickie, I think it would help.

As to Jim, I've long ago let go of my insane jealousy of his "inside knowledge". I think I overcame it coincidentally, the day we picked our trailer. Funny how that works... However, since apparently he and a few others know things in advance, I can't fault him for not posting pictures. Unless......Reace or Tammy gave approval...which since no photos are forthcoming...ok, I'm rambling...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

OMG, a new name for me?!?!?!? I don't think I can handle it. I guess I'll just go put our new cellular shades in The Trailer. Sure wish they had paw prints on 'em though.

At least when you see more green Robert you know you are getting better mileage right? Unfortunately Ford uses the same graph for Cdn. models so the higher the green goes the WORSE the mileage is, counterintuitive if you are thinking green is better for the environment.

Our mileage Monday driving to Thunder Bay was certainly not as good as previous trips, but with temperatures below zeroC that's to be expected. We averaged 10.8 L/100 km (21.75 mpg) this time compared to between 9.5 - 10 (25.75-23.5 mpg)

Hi: Jim Bennett... In the words of my grand daughters fav. song, "Let it go, let it go"!!!
I too would like to see pic's but I already know what it's like having a 5.0TA. Almost warm enough to start prepping for that long slide south in January. Alf

Well said Donna. I agree and respect Jim's position on NOT "outing" ETI.
Jim, thank you for your integrity. Merry Christmas Jim.

As to the Escape Christmas "gift" topic.

I suppose I can say that our new 21' is currently taking delivery of two LifeLine 6v GPL-6CT 300ah AGM batteries, mounted inside where its warm and safe from walking away.

Not colorful or exciting but my idea of dressing up the rig. Will finish when we return from our Christmas holiday up north.

Well Tammy has posted 5.0 TA pictures so all this discussion about JB posting some he took is now a moot point. In my defence of Jim let me just say that when we were first considering an Escape I was visiting Calgary for a couple of days and Jim went out of his way for me to see his 19.

Jim, thank you for letting ETI do the reveal, and they did just that this afternoon, it was theirs to do when they felt ready. I feel you made the right choice.
As to what is our Escape getting for Christmas-- A new house! A driveway was put in on Tuesday and a new pole building coming in January. We can't wait to have to have access to 'Our Roam Home" year around and protection from the elements when it is here.

Nylene and I have never seen the inside of an Escape trailer. We enjoy the Escape experience vicariously through the pics we see here on the Escape Forum. We live in Tallahassee, Florida, so going by Chilliwack to see a demo is not feasible. I, too, have wished ETI would put more pics on their web site.

Jim Bennett, I totally respect your position that it is ETI's baby, and they get to show their baby's photos. I can wait. It won't diminish my excitement one bit. Jim, you gave me some advice on my single pedestal table research and saved me from making a mistake, so I appreciate your advice. I'm going to start a separate thread on that issue and would appreciate your input.
