Since this type of trailer is called an egg we simply went with the name Shelly

I'm waiting for someone who does not cook very well to name their trailer
Eggs Erroneous. Especially if their name is Ernest.

Our soon to be classic 21ft will be called "Travelling Egg". We already have the California licence plate "TRVL EGG" waiting to be attached.

Felicity (name on the back of the trailer) definition:

1. the state of being happy, especially in a high degree; bliss:

If you live somewhere that allows custom plates on trailers, I think there's a lot to be said for getting a name that fits (even if abbreviated like this) on a plate, and getting the plate assigned before committing to the name on the trailer.

Here in Alberta they are called "personalized" license plates, and although they're rare on trailers, the Service Alberta guide says they're allowed. I'm not really sure that this guide is entirely correct, because it says they are issued in pairs, and while that makes sense for a motor vehicle (front plates are not required here, but can be used), it's hard to imagine a front plate on a trailer.

Have only the rear plates as its off the Scamp and that will not be going with it. Had them past 10 years and not giving them up, talked to California motor vehicles department. On the subject of eggs, was hoping the new molds went more in the rounded egg direction than what I saw in Laura's photos. I like the Boler look!

One last item, I own "www.travellingegg.com".

What's in a name?

The other one that I liked and might use is "iEscape".

Egbert.

My niece and her husband had a tiny stick trailer that they called Egbert. I thought it a good name for a small trailer. Their trailer is long gone so when I took possession of my 15A, I asked them if I could appropriate the name and keep it in the family. It seemed especially applicable for my small egg trailer. I have to admit, however, that I seldom refer to it by name other than in writing. I usually just call it that self-descriptive name...the trailer.

So true! My wife actually said "let's just call it 'the Casita', because that's what you keep calling it". I guess fond memories die hard...but I resisted the urge, since the Escape deserves it's own props.

I can relate to that. I occasionally slip and call ET19 "the Burro."

Just remember whatever name you choose and install, it can easily be changed. The owners who purchased BlackJack got new graphics....here is the old and new...
