What's in a name?
OK folks, perhaps we can have a little fun here. DH and I are trying to come up with a good name for our soon to be built 19 foot Escape.
Some of the names we've come up with have already been taken... But we still may go with one of them. . Some have to do with both of our vocations, as well as avocations.
Some that we've bantered about are Dream Escape, Escape Artist, Skylark (my former singing group), Zen Moment, Flying High, Served Well, and Escape in Style, among others.
Could you please respond with writing down your trailer name, and add other trailer names that you've seen or admired, and especially any humorous or light hearted ones?
Or, add a name that you've come up with since naming your own trailer.
Let's see what we can come up with!
Thanx!

We pick up our 5.0 at the end of July. We are thinking about naming it "Chill Pill".

I just knew what I was going to call my trailer from the day I decided one was in my future. The only other name that tickled my funny bone was Roads Scholar. Remember, if you decide to name your trailer, it doesn't need to have any meaning to anyone except to you... have fun with it!

Our last trip of the season is a visit to Chena Hot Springs, late fall it's starting to get dark again. We can sit in the hot springs and at times get lucky enough to watch the dance of the Aurora Borealis. We named our trailer "Northern Light". Scott

My 19' was named Quahog which is a North American clam, my 21' was named BlackJack as it is another word for "21" plus in memoriam to long departed friend, Capt BlackJack of Falls RD. Finally my new 19' is named "Prairie Schooner" to memorize those early settlers crossing the plains in 1800's heading west and appearing like ships in a sea of grass.

Love the replies and the names! Donna, Roads Scholar takes the cake!
Harley, I love the meaning behind yours.
Chill Pill is another good one!
One can have so much fun with this. We even thought of comparable words in a different language, reflecting our lives while living in different countries. But some of the words might be too long, or even lost in translation.
Let's hear some more!

Mine is "Toad" because it is.
I was unaware that that's a term for the vehicle behind a motor home, but don't care. It is short and sweet.

Our 17B is "Tomago", which is egg in Japanese. Wife is Japanese ancestory, Escape is, well, an egg trailer. We thought it's a fitting name!

I have friends that full timed in a 13' standard Scamp for five years. At the end of the five years, they found a great deal on a 16' Scamp, with a side bath. The new Scamp they named "Royal Flush." Not because of any card game, but because their new Scamp had a bathroom and the 13' didn't! True story!

If you are spending all the money you ever saved up on your new camper you could call it The Nest Egg.
