Ok - here is one of the finished product - kind of hard to see in the shed - but it gives you an idea of what the trailer looks like now. I like the look of the black wheel wells, but others may not.

I would have likely looked for a matching colour, but the black looks quite fitting in there, and might be even better given how dirty the wheel wells often get.

I think the black will go a long way towards hiding those gobs of road tar that tend to get thrown up into the wheel wells from the tires. I know they show up really well on the native fiberglass, and can be tough to remove.

I don't have a problem in the wheel well so far but was on several gravel roads this summer and I notice there are some tinny pits showing up on the front, just above the snap on vinyl covers.I have been thinking of using the film option as mentioned above. Was wondering if after a while that film, shows pits as well. Also I need to add bigger mud flaps on the Tundra ,which would help.

Looks very good! Just came back from a two week trip where we went over some fresh oil, might need to consider doing the same.

What is that attached to your trailer wall between the wheel well and the door?

It it directly below the fridge so I think it is a drain. We have the large fridge option.

If you do it, mask and cover EVERYWHERE. I have done a lot of spray painting but never seen a spray can with the amount of overspray this stuff put out. We had newspapers spread out over a large area of the floor, but it still went past it. I think because this stuff is so thick there is a lot of propellent in the can. It can continue to spray for quite a while after the liquid is all gone. Luckily the overspray seems like it will just sweep up off the concrete. Also, either spray outdoors or use a good organic vapor mask - the can recommends outdoor use. It has pretty potent vapors.

Looks like the grey water tank vent.

I found out the hard way when my grey water tank filled on my 2005 17B and the water started coming out of there!! I believe now all the tanks are vented to the roof.

I don't have anything like that on my 17B. I believe mine is vented through the roof.

So now I suppose it would just back up into the shower or sink before it overflowed to the roof.

We have no reference of what an Escape TT is but wheel wells cannot be sprayed on a complete vehicle. If this is some sort of removable fender or piece that can be maneuvered it could be sprayed for sure. With some more information we may be able to help.

Thanks,

One of the Line-X shops in town said it would be no problem to spray the wheel wells, but we would have to remove the wheels to do it. They had done it a bunch of times before, and actually had pricing to do it, though that was when I first got my trailer, and I forget what it was. Something like $80 per side, I think. I was looking into spraying on the front too.

Probably just depends on the individual dealers. I would think, like yours Jim, many of them would be willing to do it.

After one trip with my DIY wheel well liner, it seems to be holding up quite well. I like the look better than the original white as dirt, grime, tar,etc aren't noticeable on it.
