Where are all the fiberglass trailers?

We are on the last day of a 10 day 3200 mile trip from New Mexico to British Columbia and back. We have driven through some of the most scenic areas and In this whole time we have seen exactly 8 fiberglass trailers.
3 Scamps : a 13 parked by a storage facility, a 16 on the interstate and a 19 5er rolling through the little town of Hagerman Idaho.
3 Casita's - all on the road
2 Uhauls in campgrounds.
The only Escapes we saw were two parked by the road not far from the Escape factory with signs on them advertising buying direct in Chilliwack!

I saw a 19 earlier today on the highway heading west near Port Alberni, BC. About 8 days ago I saw another 19 in the Porteau Cove Provincial Park near Squamish. We have been out in our 19 for nearly two weeks now. Have probably seen 10 Bolers and 1 Casita in that time.

Nine days on the road from New Hampshire to Casper WY. We've seen one Boler, two Scamps, and today--two Casitas. It is lonely out here.

Despite a steady and substantial rate of construction that makes Escape Trailer Industries a major player in current moulded fiberglass RV production, the RV industry is huge and there are decades worth of other eggs already out there. We're only one (long) day drive from Chilliwack, we drive to B.C. a couple of times a year, and I rarely see an Escape (other than those two in the field). I saw an Escape 17' near home one day and it took me a minute to realize what it was, it was such a rare sight.

I'm looking forward to having one of the "unique" trailers that Escape builds. I've always enjoyed being a little different. Like so many on this forum, I considered the Casita, even visiting the factory. But, once I found the Escape, there was no doubt in my mind that this is what I wanted.
Counting down to January!

We were surprised that there were so few fiberglass rigs of ANY brand. Saw lots of stick built tow behinds and bus type motor homes but we were always the only fiberglass at the campground.

About a month ago we spotted 2 different Escapes during the same week traveling in or near McCall - a major tourist location. We know of one local Scamp owner; and we have seen two Casitas, one Scamp, and a Big Foot at nearby campsites in the year+ that we have had ours. More is not necessarily better!

Yes, it will be. A ways to go for me too, but nothing compared to what you would have to do, but it is a good facility for this type of event.

It looks like I only need to take the Sunday off next year, so looks like we'll be there--have missed the last two years...
