Re: Where in bed do you put your head?

amirie,
How did you find that that extension worked out?
Was it a drag to put away in the mornings?
Was there ever a problem opening the fridge with the extension there?
What about sheets and blankets and etc.?

Re: Where in bed do you put your head?

We just put the wood under the bed during the day-(legs facing upwards so it slides better and doesn't mark the floor)-I had a large cushion made up instead of taking apart the small cushions from the front dinette..It fits perfectly under the counter extension sink side--so with a vinyl tablecloth on it during food prep or dishes (to keep the cushion clean and dry) I find even more counter space...

Fridge opens with the wood piece there but not with the cushion on it..

As for bedding--we aren't using king sized sheets any more--now have a queen for the bottom fitted sheet--enough to go a bit over the new cushion (the rest we cover with a small afghan) we use a single top sheet and I sewed an extension piece on the side of the comforter (of the light felted material) so it tucks totally around the cushion--keeps the tootsies warm and everything in place..
So so much more head and shoulder room--comfy to both sit up in bed and read in the corners (and not touching or leaning against the blinds) Just made a real difference to us...

Easy enough to unmake in the am and if someone still wants to lay in bed--then its easy to take apart and lay somewhat sideways....

Santacruzer, if you search under bed extension, she has put photos on before that you should find.
