Where to stay after we take posession?
We are scheduled to take possession of our 5.0TA 4/17/18. We were thinking it might be a good idea to stay somewhat close to Chilliwack for the first few days just in case a minor issue developed (which I don't expect) and we needed to go back. Any recommendations? Thanks.
We stayed several nights at the Lynden/Bellingham KOA last September while we waited for our Michigan registration and trailer plate to be FedEx'd to us.
Turns out that our bathroom window was defective, so we hauled the trailer back up to ETI after we got our plates. ETI replaced it while we waited.
The Lynden KOA worked well for us. Close enough to shopping in Bellingham, where we picked up gear and supplies for the trailer-- stuff that we didn't want to bring from Michigan.
We are planning to stay at an RV Park in Harrison Hotsprings. Spend one night and run the trailer through its courses... make sure I don’t find any issues. If I do, 30 min back to ETI.
In a current environment where vendors now have pretty good customer service where ever you go..this place is at the top. Make a reservation now because they will start to fill up with the warming weather. It's a favorite destination for vacationing Canadians.

Bathrooms are dated, but staff is friendly and it is quieter and cheaper than the KOA. We stay there anytime we are in Bellingham. There is a nice Safeway just a couple miles north.
We stayed in the Lynden KOA for our Nov 15 pickup. It was technically closed then, but they do allow year round for those picking up off-season just use envelope drop. It was very conveniently located to services, touring Vancouver, ETI if needed, etc.
Just watch out for the Goose S**t when walking around the campground.
Monday July 10. 2017 there were many forest fires in BC but I found a campsite in Birch Bay State Park for 3 nights. There were quite a few open sites for the Monday thru Thursday times. All the hookup sites were filled but many other sites were open. My site got about 2 1/2 hours of direct sun each day so it was a good test of the solar charging system.

Geese have suits? Or only on Sundays.
