whether to add color graphics to escape

Almost have our build sheet complete other than deciding on whether to put color graphics or possibly leave plain. Has anyone opted to leave their escape without graphics? If so, could you post a picture? Our casita graphics had begun to loosen around the edges which is the reason we're thinking of leaving them off the escape other than to have ESCAPE on the front of it. Has anyone had any problems with them?

My trailer is eight years old with no sign of deterioration of the graphics. Regular coat of wax on the trailer helps I expect, and the weather here in BC, and how it is stored.

Graphics free Escape (almost)

We opted to go without the graphics and got the white belly band as well. We just liked the clean look. We only had the small graphics on the rear put on.

no graphics

I also prefer the clean look, I'm picking my 19 up tomorrow and this is what it looks like.

I think trailers can look good with or without graphics, and with either the contrasting (black) trim strip or the matching (white) strip. This is really a personal taste thing, and seeing examples both ways should help in deciding which is desired.

Graphics on RVs are largely to break up the big expanse of white. I thought the three-colour full-body painted design on my motorhome was excessive at first, but it has grown on me, and I think now that just one uninterrupted colour would not be desirable, particularly in the one big area without windows. On the other hand, this all-white approach is popular with people who have huge custom-built transporters and "toter homes", and I'm sure they take pride in the clean appearance.

One thing to consider: the provided examples are of the classic Trillium-inspired Escape body shape, which has significant contour lines in the lower body (and of course lots of windows in the upper body). The new-for-2017 vertical-sided body will look a little different without graphics, and that could be more or less desirable depending on personal tastes.

Finally... adding graphics just takes money. Removing them takes effort and care, and if done after gelcoat fades may leave ghost outlines.

Yes, it is a personal thing. I don't mind the no graphics look, but definitely prefer how the graphics give it some punch. I like seeing all the different colours folks use too.

I love the graphics - as long as they're red.

Have been noticing SOB's with no graphics lately as well. Pulled ours off and like the anonymous look. Actually get more inquiries now as to what make it is, etc.

We have also decided not to have the full graphics - just the pin stripping on our new 19, with the black band. Really like the clean look. This is our second Escape trailer and never got used to the size of the Escape logo.

I too decided to nix the front graphics and just go with striping and white belly band-a much cleaner look IMHO.

I don't mind the graphics on my trailer but would have preferred seeing the word Escape on the front window being a lot smaller or not there at all. Escape-Escape-Escape-Escape: guess I don't much care for the rolling billboard look.

Or you can change them a little. I know its a 19 without that number on the front and rear.

I like that. The model could be a smaller number elsewhere if desired.

Then why not remove what you don't like?

In my situation buying a new trailer it is because Escape is accommodating enough to only put on the decals you want, so saves removing them later. I don't think many outfits would be so accommodating.

I never gave the presence of logos or graphics on my Escape a second thought and have enjoyed it the way it came from the factory. I don't think that the "devoid of graphics" look is to my taste, but removal of the big 19 still looks ok.
