I got the dovetail grey with sunbrella denim upholstery and sail white oxide for the formica. The combination really worked on the 17B so doing the same again on the 19. Here are some shots of the flooring fabric and countertop from the 17B. We wanted a lighter look than the standard escape options and it worked well.

Yes. Unless something has recently changed.

Actually, they will not do linoleum at all, only vinyl flooring. That is unless they changed things at all. I know from experience that though linoleum is a good tough surface, with colour right through, it is very stiff and would be very difficult to install in such a small space. You can get lino in squares that would be more conducive to install in a trailer, but again, more labour, and something I doubt Escape would do.

Besides, there are some very tough vinyl floors out there now, that look WAY better than they ever used to.

After you take possession, you can do anything you like. I did a glue down cork in my 19, and we just loved it. Considering it again for some time into the future with our 5.0.

I always read linoleum as being the generic of sheet vinyl...

Anyone have a Kleenex?

*passes Donna a Kleenex*

I was typing out a definition of what I know of how linoleum and vinyl flooring is made, then decided it was a bunch of jumbled words, so looked and found this right away, and deleted my wordy script.

Really nice flooring shown . It's funny how some terms just live on .....we've always heard any sheet flooring referred to as simply "lino"....
If or when we ever change ours we would choose that cork Jim B. had in his .

As a residential contractor, I need to have folks speaking in the vernacular of the industry, not their own, or mistakes can easily be made by the confusion created. Better all customers learn proper terminology, rather than me (and my subs and suppliers) having to learn ALL of theirs.

This is also why I balk at all the cutesy terms used here, as they can be easily misconstrued and cause confusion. Heck, it has happened to me a few times with; stinger, frig (I think I just swore), stooge table, and a few others.

For this pickiness..... I blame my mother.

Good luck. They still call the weight distribution hitch "Equalizer".

When I ordered custom flooring, I just told ETI what brand, color, etc., that I wanted and they took care of it through their vinyl supplier in Chilliwack. At least that's how it was two years ago.

If you are ordering custom stuff (Formica, flooring) be sure to tell ETI you want the leftover pieces in case of repair or mods later. Otherwise they just toss them in the trash.

I don't remember how much I got when I ordered through Pioneer Building Supply. I just told Jackie what I wanted and she ordered for me. She's very familiar with how much is needed for each size trailer that ETI produces. I told her which one I wanted, she ordered it, gave me the total and I handed over my debit card. Easy!

It should also say how much flooring you need on your build sheet - mine says 9 x 12 for the 17B (although with the permanent rear bed, I'm wondering if that's enough to cover the floor under the bed??) Jackie has been great so far - she did mention that if someone's choice is wood flooring, the amount may change because of the direction it comes off the roll. She said to just let her know what I'm interested in and she'll do up some quotes for me.

Sorry - should've said "wood-style/pattern" sheet vinyl.
