Why you should purchase another Escape....

You will save time in packing for the new unit since you unpacked the old one and marked the boxes already.
You can keep you tags for the new one until you get home since it is already registered for an Escape.
You already know what you did not like about the old one and had it fixed in the new one.
Your storage box will be better organized than the first one.
You will have new tires and fresh packed bearings.
You will have a cleaner and shiny exterior.
You can camp in your old trailer while delivering on the way to pick up your new Escape and camp your way home.
You will have full propane tanks and empty waste tanks, your monitors will be accurate for awhile.

Sounds like the Cpaharley philosophy of Escape acquisitions.

I'd put money that your new storage box, given a bit of time, will be either as messy or tidy as your current box.

I use this same type of 'justifying' when deciding to by another fly rod - or not. In the end, I win!

So, you must have a 2016 model that's in the works right now then. In another post you said you'll be delivering your current trailer to the new owners in SC in the next 30 days. Does that mean you'll work your way up to ETI to pick up your new trailer soon after that?

Guess that means you'll be getting your new trailer sooner than what you had proposed when you offered to sell us your trailer last year. You had offered to deliver the trailer to us on the way to the Osoyoos rally in May as you'd be picking up your new trailer at ETI on the way to the rally. Yay for getting it earlier!

But in another post I thought you said you were getting a 2017 model (a 5.0TA), so I'm kind of confused. Or am I confusing you with Jim Bennett who has said he's switching his on-order 2016 model to a 2017 model. Which won't be ready by the rally since other customers getting their 5.0TA in June have been told they won't be able to get the new 2017 model.

Really waiting for March 24th to see if the rumors of the new model are true or not. And to decide if I want to switch ours over as well. I hope there will be photos taken from a side view so we can see if it's straighter or not than the current version.

Whew!

You rarely see a good DS9 reference these days. Nice!
