17B Rim Size

Does anyone know the rim size and bolt pattern on a 17b.

The newer trailers run a 205/75-R15 tire so that is a 15" diameter rim. Some older trailers ran a 205/75-R14. My guess would be a 6" width but I would confirm this. The bolt pattern on our 19' is 5 on 4-1/2. It is a very common configuration and it would stand to reason that this was the same across models/years. Just trying to give you some direction. Maybe someone who has shopped for alternative rims on newer 17' trailer can confirm specifics for you.

Thank you, that helps.

At least on the new versions the rims are 6 inch. I asked about this when picking up my 17B in March.

Not related to the original post but this may help others with an older trailer. Not sure when they switched over but our 19 has the 14" rims and I confirmed it is a 5.5" width. It makes sense that Escape would be running a 15x6 now. I asked Tammy a while back and she confirmed there is no issues going to the larger size rim/tire combination if an owner wants to replace and run 205/75-15's. It would give you an inch more overall diameter and raise the trailer 1/2". Plus a little more load capacity. Not sure there is much value, but I would probably do it only if looking to upgrade the rims from white to aluminum at some point.

Exactly what I did on our 17B when I wanted new tires. Went with 15" aluminum rims as they had some nice looking ones on sale at DiscountTiresDirect for less than the cost of the white steel rims.
