Other than running the wire for power, the other issue is the round vent on the 21 and on the Casita is mounted on the round portion of the roof vs a flat portion. there may
be a possibility that it can not be mounted on a flush part of the roof. An option is to get the window and skip the vent, have it deleted. With the window and the MaxxFann and the vented door, you should have plenty of air movement.

I've seen some people have asked for a upgrade on their Maxxfan what is the main reason for upgrade on the standard Maxxfan supplied?

On my 19' I removed and ordered the smoke lens cover from the MaxxFann factory which allows a lot more daylight and moonlight over the opaque stock cover. The upgrade at Escape gives this cover plus a remote control for operation. You still have the controls on the unit with the added luxury of a remote and the smoke lens.

I believe it is to do with clearance, the height of the shower stall compared to the height of the trailer where the shower is. The power vent can't be installed in the 15, 17, and 19 but can be installed in the 5.0 (even though the 5.0 uses the same shower stall as the 19) and 21.

It does? I can understand the 5.0 using the same as the 19'... they're basically in the same position. But the new 21' it's forward of the door.

That's why I put it in brackets. The 5.0 and the 19 use the same shower the 21's is different. My 5.0's shower has a wheel well molded into it even though there is no wheel behind it 'cause the same shower is used in the 19 where there is a wheel behind it.

Don't to be a contrarian, but that isn't true of all 5.0s. The classic 5er has been in production much longer than the 19'. Escape Trailer wouldn't have know where to put the wheel well. However, the 5er bath did change (narrower/longer)... maybe that's when the 19' went into production (?) whenever that was.... seems like maybe... 2008... 2009?

I would imagine the early 5.0's had the same bathroom as the 17B's, as the single axle 5.0 is based on that model. When the 19 came along in 2009 it had a bigger bathroom/shower stall. That bathroom/shower stall is used in the current single axle 5.0's, at least it is in my 2012, 5.0.

I've also owned a 17B, so by experience, I know that bathroom is smaller both in length and width as well as height than the one currently used in the 5.0 (and 19).
