19 Escape Lagun Table Mod

I don't recall if a 19 has been modded with the Lagun Table, seems most of them are the 21 and 5.0.
A bit more challenging doing the 19, but the result is worth it. One of the best, most versatile, RV table systems I've modded in over the years.
We ordered the mount and table from Marine Teak https://www.marineteak.co.uk/lagun-t...ing-system-331
They are great to deal with and ships quick.
With the 19 one must be more careful if choosing a teak table as well. We took the original Escape table for the U dinette and used painters tape to mark the varying dimensions of the tables until we hit the size on the one we wanted. It turned out once installed, to be the exact table size we were wanting.
Parts used: 3/4 ply for reinforcing insert on bench wall cut to exact dimensions to fill the space and secured to the bench frame with 2.5" deck screws. Double 3/4 ply layer on flooring between rear brace and front wall. Each layer screwed down with #10 1 1/4 wood screws. 3/4 aluminum angle 4ft length screwed to top bench support with #10 5/8" wood screws. 2 10x10 rigid aluminum brackets screwed to deck ply with #10 1 1/4 wood screw. Top of brackets bolted into Lagun bracket bolts.
Asked Jon's advice on a confusing point, and he mounted his Lagun mount bracket 6" off the floor. The 19 ended up about 5.5 inches off the floor and seems about right for the trailer.
Road trip to SW CO coming up, and we'll put the new table through it's paces, but it really looks solid and love having the poles and mounts gone.

Considering there are only a handful of E19 with the front "U", yes you maybe the first with the lagun mount, others who have the "U" have made their own custom table. Nice work and table.

Nice work. We also have the 19’ with U dinette. Have lagun bracket in hand.

Which teak table size did you order?
