That's why there are 6 Z Clips. Two pairs of clips hold the shelf in place, and the last two provide spacers at the bottom so that the shelf won't tip.

You had a good night's sleep. You're home minding your own business; Who knew before day's end, you'd be ordering Z Clips?

I am working on a design for a small 4 inch shelf that folds down and is just big enough for cell phones and that glass of water that my wife has sitting by the bed every night. I was going to order the fold up table that escape used to make (now not an option) but I really don't need an 8 inch table anyway. I need to get the dimensions of the wall above the 110 volt plug at the head of the bed. I plan on using oak and making a 1/2 inch fold up shelf with a triangle of wood that folds out to hold it up. It won't have to be too strong to hold a glass of water, a book or two, and maybe a cell phone. I would like to take it down and install it when we pick up our trailer in July.

I had a small drop-down shelf installed at the end of my "permanent" front bed in my 15A. It was glassed in during construction and is extremely handy for small items. I believe it is 8" x 16" or so and is one of the better ideas I had for the trailer.

We ordered the xtension table for the foot of our bed on the fridge wall. They must have cut it down to fit because it's just right for holding the essentials at night.
