Thanks for that Eubank link. (That I couldn't get there myself does steam me a tad.) Chris' countertop design is so appealing, giving it great thought. One concern is how the top lip did not crimp upward when bending around a radius.

What's old is new again. I remember that edging from 50's houses.

Aluminum is ductile. The half inch flange on this channel wanted to pucker a bit but a rubber hammer convinced it otherwise. I don't think that tiny flange would be a problem.

"ductile." had to look that up. I get it; when in doubt employ a persuader.

The edging is very easy to manipulate with your hands. I used that double sided tape to attach automotive trim to attach the moulding. Try to get it to the exact shape so it is not trying to pull away from the counter.

Although we really liked the 17, we needed a slightly bigger bed and a chance to improve on our 17B changes was appealing. The new TA caught my attention and its design addressed most of my wishes, so we ordered one. I knew the modifications for the TA would be more extensive than before and anyone who has a TA or even a 21 can probably see the differences. Generally, I have added or modified doors, drawers, shelves, steps, lights and counters. The hardest part was making the first cut into the new woodwork. There’s more to do, but I need to take a break and go camping. All these modifications were designed and completed by myself, they were not done by ETI, i.e. they are not on their option list. Overall, it was a lot of fun and time flew by. Would I have done anything differently, I will have to think about that.
Wow Deluxe, nice cabinets.
