3M Command Bathroom
3M bath accessories are installed for the week at Quartzsite. If the locations don't quite work it's easy to move them after living with them for a bit.
Installed (Pics Below):
Bath towel hooks behind curtain
Toothbrush holder and soapdish
Shaving mirror
Shampoo caddy

Nice. I wonder if there has been any long-term use of these items. I would expect that there haven't been any issues, but am curious.

Not long term but I've had them in the bathroom on for a year and a half without problem. One of the non bathroom type fell off from inside the closet last fall while holding up the broom, may not have cleaned the wall good enough before attaching.

I've had the regular ( not for wet applications ) in my bath for at least six years, but they aren't carrying great weight.

If you read the temp specifications on the Command strip packaging, you'll find that the adhesive isn't rated for very high temps, which happen in the US South and Southwest, particularly if the trailer is stored outside in the sunshine. Doesn't seem to be a problem in the Northern US or Canada. If this happens, you can replace the Command strips with a higher temp rated 3M product.
Which is why I moved to the 3M RP45 VHB tape on my products, good to 200F.

I mostly Like it dry and clean so, I had one similar to this right there. But the blades on them weren't good enough, all of them had this very hard material which after some uses had stiffened and started to make squealing noise. It was awful. Then I got to know of a rubbery fiber kind material, I took in to the web and found one from Alto Extendable Squeegee Polished Nickel | Shower Squeegee - Bath and Shower Accessories which is extendable and ergonomic and fully functional even after couple of months uses. They really got a classic design.

Charlie, what width have you found works the best? Or do you just get the wider one and trim it down? Does it cut easily with teflon coated scissors? I use those with double back foam tape I cut all the time for my crafting. Thanks

2 years in Phoenix with outdoor uncovered storage, bathroom Command products are doing fine - 2 heavy duty towel hooks, mirror, 2 small holders, smaller hook.
Also doing fine on the wood grain cabinets.
Did NOT stay on the vinyl wall liner.
2x Umbra hooks doing fine on cabinets with 3m VHB tape.

I buy 100 ft rolls of 1 inch tape as I've designed my products around that standard width. It's rated at 20 lbs per square inch in shear (when fully cured @ 72 hours with no load) so you can easily figure what strength you'll have on smaller pieces. It cuts very easy with standard scissors, so teflon should work even better.
