My roof vent is for the black tank and my sink vent is by the entry door.

I actually went and pulled the cover back and checked it again because I've been wrong once or maybe twice before Don't know when they changed but my 2014 definitely vents through the roof via a white mushroom vent.

Ron,
I am looking forward to seeing some completed pictures of your new door storage area. I really like to see some pictures of how you ended up rerouteing the drain and vent. I still have not been able to get some to my storage door area project. I see you hinged your door on the right side. I went back and forth on which side to hinge the door I ended on the left side.

Yeah, I went back and forth on that one too. Fortunately either way works just fine.
Today it was same old, same old. Tape template in place, cut opening, glue in backing blocks and install door.
It's a great space. I'll relocate some wires and probably carpet the area including the wheel wells. It's dedicated entirely to tool storage. Couldn't resist throwing in Jack's tool bag that he kindly donated for the "Possible Pouch" event at Moab.
Just have to install the propane detector in a new location and I'll be back to modifying the plumbing.

It would be better the way it is now. There is the odd time we get an unpleasant whiff from the grey tank, though not terrible. A couple years ago we started adding a bit of grey tank deodorizer, and that cured it good. Still better to vent on the roof.

I'm changing the plumbing. The black pipe will end up mostly out of sight along the top of the opening. I'm also going to replace the "S" trap with a proper "P" trap and vent it from there. So I should end up with an unobstucted space.

I have been thinking about this modification, mainly to increase the space under the sink. I am thinking of replaceing the "P" trap with Hepvo valve. The Hepvo valve can be ordered from Little House Customs. Thanks

Ron,
I like your mod and plan to do it. What size of door that you ordered from ETI and what is the size of the door opening. Thanks.

Ron ,
You stated in your post that you're going to carpet the wheel well area so I'm thinking you must mean you're going to open up the rest of the wheel well area. I thought I would post how I rerouted the refrigerator line and the refrigerator condensation drain. First picture I am posting is the lines before I moved them.

In this last picture I was trying to more clearly show the relocated lines under the bed area.

I ordered doors that are 12 1/4" high (same as the door beside it) and 11" wide. They were $65 each plus shipping and included the hardware. The opening is 3/4" less in both directions.
Mark, busy today but hopefully I'll get some time tomorrow to work on the plumbing. No, I'm not removing any more cabinet than than I already have. I'll just carpet the areas that you can see looking in. Just providing a little cushioning for tools etc. that I'll be keeping in that area.

Mark, you're doing a really great job, very pro.
I've continued on with my opening up usable space program. The under sink area went pretty well. First blush thoughts were to get rid of the vent line but after seeing that it really didn't affect my intended use of the space I pretty much left it be. If it was easy to tie in at sink trap level I would have but it would involve to much work in a difficult to work on area.
My intent is to bridge the tops of the two wheel wells. The space under that will be accessible from inside the lower cabinet. The upper space, the one I want, is about 45" long, 12" wide and 6" high. More than enough for the kinds of objects that I want it for. I stuck a bulky beach umbrella in and it fit easily. Really glad I opened it up. Still some tidying up, carpet etc. but I can now see it works.
The real obstacle was the horizontal pipe draining the sink running across the top of the opening. I replumbed it and it makes the space more accessible.

Looks great Ron! Looking at the second picture, I see what looks like a white water line. Where did you move that? Or, did you?

Gave me heart failure for a second. Didn't think that I'd missed dealing with something important like a waterline. That's just the metal tube of the umbrella
