Would a wing nut work? I like to use stuff without the need for tools if I can.

Donna all I did was bend some aluminum and drilled a hole in it for the handle to slip through, and a 10-24 machine screw and a hole for the wood spacer.

I see now I thought you bolted the bracket to the awning arm.

I think the thing cannot work itself off or out of position from road vibration but also thinking add another hole on the right side for a wrap around tether, because like with dual parachutes, redundancy can be a good thing.

I'll be taking a look at it at Q'site. Nothing like a solid mechanical lock to keep things in place.
Speaking of Q'site, did you fix your little divot on the trailer. If you haven't, I've packed some acetate sheet and we can do a little cello finishing there.

No, the divot's still there. Just been too cold and windy to work outside. I am counting on you, Ron...will be bringing all the fiberglass repair putty, etc I got. I did cut the tongue box down so it's not touching. Hoping there's now just enough space to do the repair without having to remove the whole box.
Ya, I am a firm believer in the mechanical over the theoretical.

Water pump filter
The Shur-flow water pump comes with its own filter trap. It is a little hard to get to. Last year I accessed my Shur-flo water pump trap and found it (what?) filled with paper. It was a washed-off label, I think, off from some funnel I once used for pouring into the fresh water tank.
Recently I noticed some unwanted grit collected in the sink faucet strainer. Considering enough grit can block your flow, and thinking this pump could use help, I bought an in-line filter ($12.14).
The Shur-flo pump intake is a male port. The factory feeder line is female. This is important to know before you buy, since these add on in-line filters are ˝ inch but there are port variations, barbed or threaded. I bought the wrong one. Rather than return it I made it work using a half-inch hose. Another caution is, when disconnecting the factory hose and adding the filter don’t lose that little rubber washer insert.

Hi Myron, have you taken the plastic off the divot repair? Did the resin set up?

Ron when I got home I was too afraid to check it and, anyway, it's been much too cold out there to subject myself to the potential for any disappointment. So did what anyone under the circumstances would do... I put looking off until a warmer day. That day has finally come.
Ron, it absolutely could not have turned out any better. The two patches are smooth, glossy, quite the best I could hope for. Thank you, thank you for your help.
Now where's my picture of you kayaking with the whales??

Glad to hear that it set up OK. The mix was a bit of a guess. Hopefully, if you ever had another chip it would be in a more accessible place and you wouldn't hesitate to tackle it.
No whales this year. The one we had a couple of years ago had wintered in the bay. Otherwise they migrate North as the water warms up and it was a bit too early this year.

Water pump trap
Guess when ETI installed the water pump against the wall under the bed they must have done it before building the bed platform. If you have to pull simple maintenance on the pump, like cleaning out the strainer or adjusting a set screw, you can lift the mattress, or get down and reach in through the doors. Easy enough, for you little people.
I needed to pull the pump and take it apart to be certain no debris was lodged in the check valves and diaphragm. For us aircraft carrier-sized owners doing this is as close as it gets to capital punishment. It only takes 4 screws but you just cannot see what you’re doing. Regardless of the cost I managed to get it done. When reinstalling the pump against the wall the required painful body contortions finally got the best of me.
I had to stop this insanity. Got out the Skill saw and cut out a new trap door, just for the pump.

Nice job.
I have also built a similar 'wider' step. I haven't put a finsh on it, yet.
Is the mug rack, attached to the window frame, or is it hung from the cabinet?

Thanks. The mug rack/shelf is attached to the window at the shade screw. I cut short length of small square tube, used it as linkage. Could have done it with angle stock, and/or ...drill hole in that triangular window corner piece.

Our 2018 - 19 has a factory trap door directly over the pump to easily pop the top.

This picture is for Sleepy in BC who asked me for a picture of the door grab handle I made for my 19. (I couldn't figure out how to add it as an http in my reply to your personal message, Sleepy.) ...And, I did a search but couldn't find my original post/thread.
PS: No slip-ups yet, both work great.

Thanks Myron- I can see from the photo that you put spacer blocks behind the handle.
I am thinking that handles is bolted through the white wooden body rib, with washers and nylocs (or similar), behind it?
Please could you post a picture of the other side? (the back side of the mount, nuts etc)
