Myron,
Sorry I missed you post last night about what I was useing to cover plywood paneling edges. At this point all I have done is to sand edges smooth and than I stained the edges and the pine wood with a light golden oak stain which matches the paneling color pretty good.
I like Jim suggestion on contacting ETI to see if we can get them to ship us some edging. My other thought is to make a trip to my local building material store and see if I can find something out of the paneling area to match ETI paneling color.
Myron if you do come up with a alternative source for edging please let me know and let like wise if come up with some I will pass it to you.
Mark

That rally (Osoyoos in May) is on my radar, Jim. Shucks, for me a mere 1,483 miles.

Mark, I cut my opening using a sharp new utility knife and a hard edge but still got an edge I don't like so got to hide them. Paneling's plastic trim (modified as needed), may do it... will be checking out Lowes, etc to see what they got.

It can also mean the same stuff in more space, making the stuff easier to find and get at.

One can also say you are creating more places to look for something that you can not remember where you put since you now have a lot more places to look !!!.

Ah yes, but with all the extra space you can carry spares. So if you don't find the one you're looking for you can use the other.

I'd like to get my 21' down to around 4000# so I'm eliminating duplicates where they exist. Just a personal goal!!

So y'all stopped the thread drift by moving the coffee discussion to another thread -- only to have it reappear here. Proof that Coffee knows know thread boundaries!

I'm as good a sport as the next coffee drinker. But...could we limit this thread to high praise for my wonderful mods?

5 coats Deft on cedar. Found plastic panel trim yesterday I hope will work.

Tennessee Aromatic Cedar, one of my favourite woods, very nice. That wood would make a great tray for serving coffee.

Your door is too beautiful to be so low - you need to put it at eye level.

Ron
Perhaps the two threads could be combined if MyronL made the door from
Kentucky Coffeetree wood (Scientific Name: Gymnocladus spp.)?
