I'm a big fan of the Bora fan. I installed one in our Scamp because it's quiet AND it only draws 4 watts at full speed (which we never use) so it's great for boondocking.

The fan is approximately 8" in diameter. It has bare ends on the wire which is probably over 5 feet. Full specs available on Amazon. I can't figure-out how to include hyperlinks without using the way-too-many character URL; sorry.

Thanks - that's what I needed to know. I found it on Amazon but it didn't really provide much in the way of specs...thus the questions.

An inside-the-fridge shield to help reduce the impact opening the door has on cold air loss makes sense. That commercial version probably works better than what I done. Removed fridge bottom veggie bins because they wouldn't open with the stiff plastic in place.
For what it's worth....

Myron,
They offer a 25% discount to Escape- only $30 and you get to keep your bins

I like the bins because you can grab a bin and close the door and then spend 10 minutes looking for the smoked cheese that you forgot to pack in the first place.

It does make sense and when you look at the warning label Cruise America puts on their fridges it does back up the fact that each door opening has a price.

Where can I get one of those decorative stickers for my fridge?

Maybe Dometic should put them on all their fridges and lower expectations from the get go.

We have a travel alarm that we have used for years. If you push on the front of it, a blue light turns on and you can see the time. That's handy at, say, 4 am. In our new trailer, there wasn't a convenient place to put it that is handy to the bed. We perched it on top of the stove, but that was not a good location.
When I built our spice rack, I had some leftover oak. It looked like the perfect solution to our need. I built a very simple shelf that could hold the travel clock and a few other things, like eyeglasses.
I learned that the oak colored buttons along the edges of the panels in the trailer conceal screws that hold the panels in place, so I used one of them to hold the left side of the shelf, and I put a screw into the frame next to the refrigerator door to hold the right side.
We'll see how well it works in our camping trip coming up soon.

Ron in BC, Hugh and Pat, got me taking a close look at the dinette sitting space in my trailer. Had no need to raise the floor space but, Ron's raising the bench height idea hit me right square where I sat.
Here's my copycat solution, Ron. Going up that 3 inches really feels awesome.

Sort of like an Escape "high chair" mod, nice work Myron. You may be running out of projects on that unit soon....

And I bet your feet are still flat on the floor.
Did I miss a mod? When did you add the storage shelf at the front of the table? Photos?

Great Scott! You had me for a minute there ...went back to the past and found I actually did post a picture, at #256. Not to worry, any excuse for picture postings' a good one, so here you go...
PS when I do run out of mods, Jim, it will for sure be a kick in the butt black day.

So you did. Very handy area for shelves to hold all those little items close at hand. Too bad ETI didn't glass on a couple of parallel battens on the front wall and make it easier for owners to attach items to.
You run out of mods, not likely, you probably have so much more junk too good to throw out that needs to be used in a mod.
