A request and a question

We are interested in either a 19ft or 21ft Escape trailer. But, short of travelling to BC to see these trailers, if there is anyone willing to let us have a look at their trailer, we would be appreciative. We live in SW Ontario...in Sarnia. Thanks in advance!

Now the question. I have had two Trilliums, a 13ft Scamp, and most recently a 16ft Scamp. The 16ft Scamp did not work for us, particularly because the bed was so uncomfortable, but for another reason as well.

The Scamp has a wet bath, with the toilet situated in the bath area, higher than the shower basin. The height of the toilet (plus confined space) made using the Throne difficult for my lady. From looking at the Escape, it appears that the toilet in the wet bath is also elevated. Is this the case, and if so, have others found this to be an issue ....and if so, how did you resolve this? I thought perhaps an insert in the shower basin?

Thanks, Steve

The commode does sit a little high for those who are a bit "inseam-challenged." Some folks use this (see link below) as a floor mat in the shower, which also elevates your feet a bit. One person commented that a similar teak wood mat had stained their shower floor over time.

We don't use it, so I hope others who do will comment with their personal experience.

There will be a rally this fall in Niagara Falls, On where there will be several Escapes where you can see for yourself the dimensions- look under rallies here on the forum.
As far as teak in the bath, I have been using one for past 6 years without any issues and it does raise the floor close to 2 inches. You can also build your own raised floor....

I have a mat which helps but yes for me it's too high but at 5'2"tall I'm used to that.
