Added exterior 12V outlet
Added a 12V exterior outlet yesterday. Wired it up with some 10 gauge wire to a dedicated slot on the power center DC board with a 15 amp fuse. Wiring run was short as I added it on the front drivers side which on the 19 is right near the power center. Used a nice Furrion marine outlet. 1-1/4" hole saw works perfect.

This can serve multiple uses (i.e air compressor, water transfer pump), but was added primarily to run a 12V air stone to keep bait alive while on fishing trips.
If I was ordering a new trailer I would definitely consider the option to add 1 or 2 of these from the factory.

With your batteries in the front box, why not install one in your front storage box and wire direct to the batteries?

Jim: No front box. Batteries were moved inside on passengers side to accommodate mini-split condenser. Not sure I see any advantage direct to batteries. Wiring and fusing via power center was very convenient.

The photo has me confused: do you have a front access hatch on the driver side?

And it means that the storage switch cuts off this outlet, which seems like a good idea to me. In storage, I would prefer anything externally accessible to be off.

Yes, it was an option on the classic 19's (at least in earlier years). I've seen it on a few other early 19's. On the build sheet as "Exterior Hatch Front Driver's Side". Even with the converter there and part of the black tank it still provides access to a fair amount of space.
Geez...I look at that first picture and realize how old it is. Trailer now has removable power cord, bath window, no rooftop A/C, bathroom fan, new Maxxfan, mini-split condenser on tongue...looks like a different trailer

Looks great, nice install!
If we're camping close together I could run my late night TV and recharge my laptop off your battery.....

Thanks. I was very happy with how it came out. Looking forward to using it. Have a couple of trips planned where I need to keep bait alive and this should work perfect with the low amp 12V aerator I found today. I plan to cut off the battery clips and wire on my own plug.

Yes and it helped with the install too. Flipped the switch off to isolate, did all my wiring and then switched it back on to test. Worked perfect.
