Good catch on the need to split the converter from the microwave, if they are combined this way from the factory in a trailer not built with a transfer switch. Fortunately the wiring from the converter to the panel is obviously short and accessible, as they are in the same box.

I’m going to use a Heavy Duty Toggle Switch DPDT
About $6 just to run the microwave and one plug
