Now that sounds like something one can work with. I have no skin in this game, but it will be interesting to hear what Duer comes back with from ETI. They obviously know what is required of the modern units with digital controls.

I left a message with ETI and missed their call back.
Basically the message said pictures and trailer numbers are needed.
That's all I can share for now and the used trailer I'm considering is too far away. As well, other buys are interested. So I won't pester ETI about a job that isn't coming their way.
That's not cool. Always best to not play games with hard working folk.
Sorry, I don't have any thing more on this after starting the thread..
Suppose I could just ask about the wiring, but I'm too upfront to play those sorts of games.....

After a discussion with Reace it basically comes down to older 17b will not have the A/C ready option- it wasn't offered until fairly recently, it is not in the ETI option list that I could see. However, I know of a 2016 17b owner who had the option installed on his trailer.
There are many variables involved with the 17b and it is possible to put A/C into the trailer. It would end up being a time and material job and since I have not purchases a used 17b needing an A/C retrofit I'm not painted into a corner...

I must say that this was my first conversation with Reace and he was very good to talk with. It is a good to know that one of the ETIs owners will take time from their busy day to talk to a 'potential' used Escape trailer buyer. I get part of this is sales and marketing, but try this with an Indiana trailer manufacturer....I don't need to say anything more...

We didn't get into the wiring of the A/C prep options and I was not discussing a 19' retro....
Reace clearly stated that pictures and a trailer number would help with a retrofit.
