Backsplash - wood screw plugs diameter?

Wifey is thinking she may want a lighter wood than Escape standard (which I presume is oak.) What diameter plug is needed and how many are there in a 21?

We'll probably take some up when we visit ETI in a two weeks.

Not sure exactly what you are asking, Charlie. There is no option to the wood Escape uses. The real wood is a natural finished oak, and the vinyl ply matches it.

What plugs are you referring to? Most of the finish is applied to the frames with a narrow crown finishing stapler.

The formica-clad backsplash in the kitchen area is secured to the outside wall with deep set countersunk screws; the plugs cover the drilled holes for the screws and are round button shaped protrusions along the back splash.

Has nothing to do with frames or edges.

Escape responded that the holes are 3/8 diameter and that their plugs are fake oak (probably plastic.) We'll probably use maple ones as directed by my resident interior decorator...........

At least in my trailer, those screws are not countersunk at all, and plastic caps are used in a colour to (somewhat) match the oak. Haven't seen them in wood grain, but you can get metal ones.

Scamp sells white ones. Since the caps are plastic you could spray paint them with Krylon.
