Battery Disconnect Switch Replacer & Move

In process of replacing and moving the battery disconnect switch by the entry door where I think it should be in the first place.

Just need to wire in using 6 gauge wire.

I have never used that switch, in any of my Escapes, probably never will since I have hookups while in storage.

I like that black switch. Not a fan of the red ones. Is this it?

Great idea, the factory placement and quality of the original switch in our 19’ is not ideal.... especially if the table is down and bed is made.

Where do run wire from the old location to the new location?

There is space above the passenger side wheel wells behind the kitchen cabinet. This space is not accessible without cutting a hole.

Under the rear passenger side bench seat is gap at the rear wheel well, I can easily run the wires from the back to the hole I drilled.

Some put a small door in the area I drilled the hole to create alternate storage space. See wasted space on this forum.
