I ended up driving an axe wedge into the receiver ( BTW, I'm trying to get my cargo rack from wracking ). I lost one, but this one seems to be holding and keeping the rack from wobbling.

I think the bike rack should move some other wise all the shock goes into the bikes . I usually put 4 rubber ties on one side and only 2 on the other.
That way it's allowed to move , just not slap around so mush. Does that make any sence.?

Nice set up , way better than mine . My bikes sit on the cross bar yours sit on the tires . My bucket list includes a bike set up like in your picks.
