We have a SMEV 2-burner flush mount with glass top. We have it shipped to ETI for installation. I'd love to have the flush mount sink as well but we run out of counter top space in the 17".

We have the stock fabric for upholstery and love the combo.

We have couple more pictures of the interior in our album if you are interested. These pictures were taken on an early spring, overcast day:
what is the black thing below your stove?

It's the furnace. We have a 17B.

Really? Is it possible that ETI has different covers to match the interior?

I think the furnace covers are all the same color. I spray painted mine when I changed out my refer panel.

A new-enough trailer (of any model) might have the new model furnace (Atwood AFSAD12), which has a different grill from the original (Atwood 8012). In most models (including the 17) the new furnace is in the same place as the original.

Trailer: building 2015 17B for December

Thanks for the advice Karen. I am ordering a 17B for Dec 2016. Didn't think I cared about the interior but really like the dark counters with SS. Just ordered samples from Formica. The -58 code ETI installs seems to be all matte finish. Will the matte be okay? several people mentioned radiance in their posts.

rvbill.... We got a black radiance -think it's called Mineral Jet - love it. We are just coming home on our maiden voyage....picked up our Casa Blanca on Sept 8th... I don't think you would be disappointed with the radiance finish!
Good luck with whatever you choose!!

The matte finish shows less glare, and over time with lots of use, will show wear (scuffs) less too. That said, if you treat the glossier finishes with care, they will last and look good for a long time.

Highly!!!recommend that you do not order the Formica with the description "Black" on the back of the sample. DonnaD warned me--I didn't listen. It shows everything!!! No matter what I wipe it with, marks remain. But still really love the look of the black table/counter tops!

I see lots of folks wanting really dark floors and counters these days, then complain about how they show every spec of dust. We do warn them.

We are going with a multi coloured counter, kind of like granite.

We got the 3690 Basalt Slate which is kind of a black with marbled gray. Ordered the 4x6 samples from Formica before we decided. While we haven't seen it completed outside the build pic, I think it will be pretty close to what we put together with the samples. Think the marbling of Gray will help with the showing specs of dust etc. Only thing I noticed was they should have put black snap caps, but Crystal said they don't have them so I'll order 12 black caps and replace the brown ones.

Thanks Charlie n Lucy. We'll see it in person in about 2 weeks...
Ellen, you might pick up a pack of the micro fiber towels at Wally. It's what I use to clean all the iPad, laptop glass and only thing that works well. Bet a quick wipe down with the micro fiber will solve it. I agree the black looks stunning with the stainless, and the darker floors contrast the light wood that Escape uses. But everyone decorates to their own style.
