I've heard great things about the Nature's Head composting toilet. Too bad it can't be adapted for an Escape. Sure appears to make a lot of sense.

I assume this was intended to be "why it can't be adapted for use in a Escape". The bathroom interior is moulded fiberglass, shaped around the black waste tank. If you remove the toilet, you still have the big step in the floor with the black tank underneath, so there isn't enough height for a typical composting toilet... or anything else other than a toilet intended to sit on a tank like that.

Brian.... Your correct I meant can't......If that's the only reason that it would be to tall you could have a small short step stool so your feet don't dangle.
It sure would be a water saver if camping/boon docking in the desert.
