Convection-Microwave

Has anyone found a quality convection-microwave that fits in the microwave shelf area in the 21?

I think one of the concerns about installing a convection oven where the microwave is located is that it may get too hot for the confined space. I like the idea though.

We considered a convection/microwave oven in our new trailer and ETI said they have the capability to create the space; however, it would have been placed under the stove-top ... where the 'normal' oven would be. We asked about putting one in the microwave area but it didn't seem there was enough air-flow around the unit. Would be interested if someone finds one that works ....

convection/microwave

Hi, I put a convection/microwave in our 2017 5th wheel and love it and it is not where the conventional microwave would be, it is under the stove top and fits just fine. So far no troubles.

When we bought our Casita it had one already. It was in the cabinet above the refrigerator which is confined. We have never had any problem using it, but we only use it to make toast so it doesn't stay on for more than a few minutes. It does have a circulation fan that stays on several minutes after it is shut off.

Thanks everyone. I hadn’t considered the heat issue. That makes sense.

Hummm, since that area is right next to the refrigerator and convection ovens generate a lot of heat, I can see where it may be best on the other side of the trailer. Refrigerators struggle enough without adding more heat.
