Gary, if you do a search, you will see that that has been used by a couple people here. I know Ian G used one in his Casita, and plans to use one in his Escape on order. I kind of like the idea too.

2) You would loose a significant portion of the storage space in the 19. Our two 67 quart wheeled Sterilite boxes hold most of our wardrobe items and fit beautifully under the bed. Using the exterior access hatch also lets us store our folding chairs, tools, hoses, etc. in the rear portion of the space...mostly things that won't fit easily in the front storage box.
Do these boxes sit side-by-side, or do you stack them?
The 21' Escape does not have the visible step up floor in the dinette area,the rise is hidden by the dinette area on each side, sort of like a sunken living room.
Nice - ETI has already done the drop-between-frame-rails floor in this case. I hadn't noticed that before. Since the frame is pretty high on a 21' I guess it still works for tank clearance.
